After a rather tough play, Mammamattawa AFC's Rocky Platt got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Quinton Vinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlee's supporters rose to their feet, but Quinton Vinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heriberto Calloway breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustaquio McDaniel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heriberto Calloway having to make a save. Heriberto Calloway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio McDaniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Rocky Platt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mammamattawa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rocky Platt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jamar Beauchamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mack Andrews read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. When Eustaquio McDaniel came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Atlee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio McDaniel couldn't finish the play. If Jamar Beauchamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Atlee were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quinton Vinson to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Atlee's Milford Minor got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Mack Andrews showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocky Platt in the 56th minute of the match. Rocky Platt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mack Andrews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Quinton Vinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heriberto Calloway was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rufus Murray showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 69 minute of play. If Eustaquio McDaniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute of the match Atlee got a corner. Mammamattawa AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Derrick Dick ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rufus Murray hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the game, Judson Ochoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mammamattawa AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlee the free kick. In the 86th minute, Judson Ochoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mammamattawa AFC's Raymond Brochu got a free kick in the 90th minute. Judson Ochoa was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 92nd minute, Judson Ochoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugene Ladner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute.
