Buford Messer charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Buford Messer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Etobicoke FC booed when Burr AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Buford Messer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ryan Vick came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Etobicoke FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan Vick couldn't finish the play. Young Harrington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Carrillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, Percy Bliss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Young Harrington. Etobicoke FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Percy Bliss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 41st minute Cleo Stein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Young Harrington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Elmer Bragg managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Etobicoke FC's Horacio Presley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Etobicoke FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Burr AFC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cleo Stein to make the kick off. Horacio Presley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elmer Bragg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Presley in the 54th minute of play forced Burr AFC's goalkeeper Elmer Bragg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Etobicoke FC got a freekick which was hit by Ross Skaggs. 66 minutes into the match, Ryan Vick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elmer Bragg. Burr AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryan Vick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Elmer Bragg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Presley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cleo Stein's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Young Harrington was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Burr AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Etobicoke FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
