Spectators: 6755 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1755, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Shawn Ladner took the kick off in the first half of the match. The Holden AFC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Holden AFC's Shawn Ladner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Holden AFC's Denis Lebel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Logan Lyon in the 12th minute of play. Gail Dubois hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Dustin Parrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porfirio Carr in the 18th minute of play. Carter Travis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Lebel having to interfere. Holden AFC's Denis Lebel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Travis in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Holden AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Logan Lyon came free, but Denis Lebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Logan Lyon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Lebel was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. If Shawn Ladner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carter Travis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Denis Lebel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carter Travis came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Denis Lebel could save by the left post. Porfirio Carr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dustin Parrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Holden AFC booed when Jellicoe AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jospeh Flynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Jellicoe AFC defense, Shawn Ladner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dustin Parrot. The Jellicoe AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dustin Parrot should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Logan Lyon made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Shawn Ladner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dustin Parrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Logan Lyon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holden AFC's Denis Lebel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dustin Parrot was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Shawn Ladner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shawn Ladner really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. If Carter Travis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Shannon Webster was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holden AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jellicoe AFC the free kick. Shannon Webster kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Denis Lebel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Travis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Logan Lyon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Lebel was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Holden AFC's Denis Lebel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Travis in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Jellicoe AFC's goalkeeper Dustin Parrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gail Dubois. After 86 played minutes Jellicoe AFC got a freekick which was hit by Danial Joyce. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Holden AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
