To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tristan Strickland during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Brownsburg getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tristan Strickland hit a great ball. Ramon Beal kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Angus AFC's goalkeeper Jamaal Fitzpatrick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Angus AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rubin Pitts. Don Felder struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jamaal Fitzpatrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brownsburg. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Donn York made the kick off in the second half. Donn York sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Angus AFC booed when Brownsburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tod Wetzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donn York took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Randell Duhamel. Randell Duhamel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Angus AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ramon Beal hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Angus AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Don Felder came free, but Jamaal Fitzpatrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Valentine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Don Felder put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jamaal Fitzpatrick. In the 86th minute, Tristan Strickland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristide Velasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Randell Duhamel having to make a save. A collision led to Brownsburg getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Tristan Strickland hit a great ball. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brownsburg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gail Roper was slow to take the kick. During this time Angus AFC's players had a chance to rest. Antone Creech was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Angus AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brownsburg's performance. The match ended with a win for Brownsburg.
