Dustin Parrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Khartum. After having played for 28 minutes, Jospeh Flynn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jellicoe AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jospeh Flynn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Khartum getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gilbert Acosta hit a great ball. When Julius Gendron fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jellicoe AFC's protests and gave Julius Gendron a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Jellicoe AFC's Dustin Parrot got control of the ball when Titus Charrette tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Khartum's Earnest Labonté sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dustin Parrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
