Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joan Matthews kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Joan Matthews managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pittsburgh FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joan Matthews was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugh Lange breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guy Foucault was a little too slow when Ambrose Valle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Clyde Champion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Guy Foucault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prosper Madden charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prosper Madden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pittsburgh FC's Prosper Madden got a free kick in the 18th minute. Ambrose Valle struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Guy Foucault didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whycocomagh AFC. Joan Matthews blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugh Lange having to make a save. Clyde Champion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Guy Foucault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Guy Foucault managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Whycocomagh AFC's Clyde Champion fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joan Matthews struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Hugh Lange didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pittsburgh FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joan Matthews in the 45th minute of play forced Whycocomagh AFC's goalkeeper Hugh Lange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Clyde Champion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guy Foucault. Pittsburgh FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clyde Champion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.

In the 56th minute Clyde Champion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Foucault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ambrose Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrose Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Clyde Champion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Ambrose Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Foucault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrose Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Pittsburgh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prosper Madden to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrose Valle in the 86th minute of play forced Pittsburgh FC's goalkeeper Guy Foucault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Clyde Champion came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Whycocomagh AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clyde Champion couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Ambrose Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Foucault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guy Foucault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrose Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Clyde Champion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 98 minutes of play, Whycocomagh AFC's Clyde Champion made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guy Foucault was left in no man's land by his defense there! Whycocomagh AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
