Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Shawn Ladner kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Shawn Ladner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holden AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shawn Ladner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Holden AFC's Porfirio Carr got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shawn Ladner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Foucault having to interfere. Shawn Ladner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 26 minutes, Shawn Ladner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Shawn Ladner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holden AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shawn Ladner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guy Foucault breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 played minutes Pittsburgh FC got a freekick which was hit by Prosper Madden. When Joan Matthews came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Pittsburgh FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joan Matthews couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes Holden AFC got a freekick which was hit by Shannon Webster. Eloi Akins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Lebel having to interfere. Guy Foucault stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gail Dubois's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joan Matthews to strike the kick off in the second half. Shawn Ladner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guy Foucault came out and tried to block the shot, but Shawn Ladner slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Marcel LeBatelier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gail Dubois fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holden AFC's protests and gave Gail Dubois a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Holden AFC's Gail Dubois got a free kick in the 61st minute. Porfirio Carr's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Guy Foucault skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 65 minutes into the match, Holden AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloi Akins came free, but Denis Lebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Maurice Casgrain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guy Foucault was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Shawn Ladner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shawn Ladner really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Thanks to some nice moves Porfirio Carr could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Guy Foucault however easily saved by the left post. Guy Foucault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shawn Ladner in the 87th minute of play. Holden AFC's Denis Lebel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloi Akins in the 88th minute of play. Denis Lebel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloi Akins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shannon Webster hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Holden AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
