After 32 played minutes Vandry AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad McLean. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Lenny Henderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kagawong's supporters rose to their feet, but Lenny Henderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merlin Jetté breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tory Madison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vandry AFC's Mohammad McLean got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Lester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shannon Kirkpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.
The wind increased when Tory Madison made the kick off in the second half. Chester Witt struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Arturo Lester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vandry AFC. In the 57thth minute of the game Mohammad McLean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kagawong's Arturo Lester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Shannon Kirkpatrick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vandry AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shannon Kirkpatrick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Kagawong fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vandry AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
