Columbus Petersen hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Joan Matthews blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Randell Duhamel having to make a save. In the 6th match minute, Pittsburgh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloi Akins to maneuver through the defense. Guy Foucault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Valentine, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Brownsburg's Tristan Strickland got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Don Felder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guy Foucault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Valentine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pittsburgh FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maurice Casgrain in the 21st minute. A nice corner shot did that Maurice Casgrain got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Randell Duhamel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Pittsburgh FC's Evan Nichols got a free kick in the 24th minute. Guy Foucault didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Felder went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Marcel LeBatelier's late challenge caught a Brownsburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel LeBatelier helped the player get up and apologised. 32 minutes into the game, one of Pittsburgh FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marcel LeBatelier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randell Duhamel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Brownsburg's zone, Marcel LeBatelier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Randell Duhamel came out of the goal and Marcel LeBatelier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Joan Matthews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Don Felder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Pittsburgh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Don Felder came free, but Guy Foucault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pittsburgh FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eloi Akins hit a great ball. Guy Foucault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Felder, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Emil Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Foucault having to interfere. Guy Foucault had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Don Felder from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Joan Matthews charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joan Matthews the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Pittsburgh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joan Matthews to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Don Felder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guy Foucault made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 84th minute, Emil Valentine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Columbus Petersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pittsburgh FC's zone, Emil Valentine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guy Foucault came out of the goal and Emil Valentine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emil Valentine who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Guy Foucault when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Emil Valentine fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Guy Foucault, passed just outside the right post. The Pittsburgh FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brownsburg's performance. The match ended with a win for Brownsburg.
