Spectators: 6755 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1755, VIP seats: 0) Donn York made the kick off and thus started the match. If Aristide Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Rubin Pitts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Porfirio Carr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jamaal Fitzpatrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Angus AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubin Pitts to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Angus AFC booed when Holden AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elbert McCann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamaal Fitzpatrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porfirio Carr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Shawn Ladner sped through Angus AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jamaal Fitzpatrick. Holden AFC's Denis Lebel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donn York in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Aristide Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Lebel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Porfirio Carr came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Holden AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Porfirio Carr couldn't finish the play. The Angus AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Holden AFC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shawn Ladner made a kick off. Aristide Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angus AFC's Donn York got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 played minutes Angus AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adrien North. In the 62nd match minute, Holden AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuan Huffman to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Shawn Ladner took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Jamaal Fitzpatrick to make any attempt to save it. Denis Lebel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donn York in the 89th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Holden AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
