If Corin Lockwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Carter Rouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayden Ouellet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blaise John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Ladner having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Corin Lockwood made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Manouane's Karl Ladner tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hayden Ouellet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Rouse, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corin Lockwood was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Corin Lockwood who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manouane's Karl Ladner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Blaise John managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Musquodoboit FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blaise John was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
