Hershel Dube ran back to his position shaking his head. Jamar McFarland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Kidd having to interfere. Oscar McMahon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Kidd made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Hershel Dube sent off a good shot on target. Loup Marcum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar McMahon in the 14th minute of play. Foster Evans struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Loup Marcum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St. Lawrence FC. Hershel Dube fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Kidd having to interfere. Oscar McMahon scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Loup Marcum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd match minute, St. Lawrence FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevie Rucker to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Stevie Rucker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Vince Berthiaume sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jack Kidd skillfully saved the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Jamar McFarland made the kick off in the second half. Irwin Carrington's late challenge caught a St. Lawrence FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irwin Carrington helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes St. Lawrence FC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar McMahon. Oscar McMahon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loup Marcum having to interfere. If Hershel Dube had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Willie Pariseau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bilby AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St. Lawrence FC the free kick. In the 77th minute, Oscar McMahon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Loup Marcum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar McMahon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Kidd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamar McFarland in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, St. Lawrence FC's Israel Lutz got a free kick in the 87th minute. Vince Berthiaume was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jack Kidd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hershel Dube, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Oscar McMahon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loup Marcum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hershel Dube scored 1-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jack Kidd, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
