Kennith Thurman ran back to his position shaking his head. Eugène Noble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennith Thurman in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute Roland Vasquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telesphore Oliver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kennith Thurman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Livelong's Telesphore Oliver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noé Chesnay in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noé Chesnay to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Santiago Harrington was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mississauga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Livelong the free kick. After 53 played minutes Mississauga got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Harrington. Roland Vasquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mississauga's attack was well implemented in the 66th minute, but when Noé Chesnay was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Jeffrey Newton hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Kennith Thurman scored 2-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugène Noble, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Telesphore Oliver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noé Chesnay in the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Leonardo Seymour was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mississauga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Livelong the free kick. Roland Vasquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noé Chesnay in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telesphore Oliver prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
