Spectators: 7314 (Terracing: 5714, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Val Heller made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickie Aragon got free with Frances Fortune in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Rickie Aragon notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Codroy's Frances Fortune. Frances Fortune was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 12 minutes, Rickie Aragon made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Codroy's Frances Fortune tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rickie Aragon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Frances Fortune skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 18 played minutes Codroy got a freekick which was hit by Conrad Palacios. If Rickie Aragon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frances Fortune made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Joel Montano sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Rickie Aragon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Codroy's Frances Fortune got control of the ball when Rickie Aragon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rickie Aragon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frances Fortune. That made the score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rickie Aragon made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rickie Aragon in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frances Fortune saved Codroy from getting behind. Frances Fortune showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Codroy's Frances Fortune played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy Maher in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Chong Waddell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hilton Guy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francis Davila went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tyrone Fitzpatrick during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Red Deer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyrone Fitzpatrick to maneuver through the defense. Frances Fortune stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rickie Aragon's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Gavino Cebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Frances Fortune was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Val Heller during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Codroy getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Val Heller hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Conrad Palacios collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After a rather tough play, Red Deer's Chong Waddell got a free kick in the 78th minute. Grady Yoder took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hilton Guy. Red Deer's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Codroy getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Arnaud Fay hit a great ball. Frances Fortune made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickie Aragon in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Franklyn Forbes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Deer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franklyn Forbes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Codroy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! Frances Fortune took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickie Aragon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
