Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tanner Glass made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Marcellin Gallegos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iona's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcellin Gallegos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. René Peck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Major Tuttle shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 22nd match minute, Iona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Chester to maneuver through the defense. Iona's Tyrell Redding played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donny Fitzpatrick in the 23rd minute of play. Marcellin Gallegos struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. René Peck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iona. If Marcellin Gallegos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Major Tuttle kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. René Peck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanner Glass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waylon Lugo during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, one of Iona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Iona. After a rather tough play, Kipawa's Lyle Benton got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The Iona players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kipawa were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donny Fitzpatrick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Donny Fitzpatrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyrell Redding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ollie McGowan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Tyrell Redding when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tyrell Redding showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Fitzpatrick in the 56th minute of the match. During the 62nd minute of the match Lyle Benton completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lyle Benton a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Kipawa's Lyle Benton got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ollie McGowan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Tyrell Redding when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Iona's Tyrell Redding got control of the ball when Ollie McGowan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Iona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Pritchett to maneuver through the defense. Major Tuttle hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Iona's Hunter Stiles tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Marcellin Gallegos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kipawa's René Peck. René Peck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Donny Fitzpatrick blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tyrell Redding having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Iona's goalkeeper Tyrell Redding had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ollie McGowan. Marcellin Gallegos scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of René Peck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. René Peck came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Iona's Tanner Glass. But to his dismay, Tanner Glass quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
