After a rather tough play, Perow AFC's Al Ott got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 15th minute Tanner Glass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carol Mixon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcellin Gallegos got free with Carol Mixon in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tanner Glass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyrell Redding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Vincent in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Iona getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Tommy Pritchett hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, Enoch Trujillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tyrell Redding was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Enoch Trujillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perow AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enoch Trujillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyrell Redding breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perow AFC's Enoch Trujillo got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Enoch Trujillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perow AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enoch Trujillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Marcellin Gallegos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcellin Gallegos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carol Mixon having to interfere. If Tanner Glass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the game, Tommy Pritchett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perow AFC the free kick. 68 minutes into the match, Iona's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Vincent came free, but Tyrell Redding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Daniel Vincent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iona's Tyrell Redding was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcellin Gallegos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Carol Mixon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carol Mixon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcellin Gallegos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Iona's Tommy Pritchett got a free kick in the 77th minute. Enoch Trujillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Tyrell Redding skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Vincent in the 92nd minute of play forced Iona's goalkeeper Tyrell Redding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Iona supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Perow AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Perow AFC.
