Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lynwood Bates to make the kick off. Doyle Snider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lynwood Bates in the 52nd minute of play. Roosevelt Martineau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Lynn Rivas made a huge save. Roosevelt Martineau struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Lynn Rivas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leeville. Lynwood Bates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Doyle Snider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Lynwood Bates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doyle Snider having to interfere. If Lynwood Bates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Leeville eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
