Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Paddockwood AFC's Gautier Dodd started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Valentin Payton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Ruffin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Payton might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clark Ruffin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Payton ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Eugenia FC booed when Paddockwood AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Munoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Barney Hough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Paddockwood AFC's goalkeeper Clark Ruffin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute Barney Hough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Ruffin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Pariseau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Caldwell having to interfere. Barney Hough's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clark Ruffin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Paddockwood AFC's Clark Ruffin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Payton in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Carlos Pariseau got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Carlos Pariseau struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ali Caldwell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paddockwood AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gautier Dodd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paddockwood AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gautier Dodd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Caldwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes Eugenia FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmad Rich.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Gilbert Munoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paddockwood AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Munoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Caldwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barney Hough recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentin Payton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Clark Ruffin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Paddockwood AFC's goalkeeper Clark Ruffin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barney Hough. After a defensive mix-up in Paddockwood AFC's zone, Valentin Payton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clark Ruffin came out of the goal and Valentin Payton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmad Rich was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Eugenia FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ali Caldwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Pariseau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Eugenia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Pariseau came free, but Ali Caldwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Paddockwood AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gilbert Munoz hit a great ball. The supporters of Paddockwood AFC booed when Eugenia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmad Rich didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Valentin Payton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Ruffin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Caldwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gautier Dodd, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Gautier Dodd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Paddockwood AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
