Shaunavon AFC's Lynn Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horace Lindsay in the 20th minute of play. Lynn Rivas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thierry Richmond in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Constantin Labossière hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Shaunavon AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Tristan Serrano hit a great ball. Weston Haines was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augustin Marino during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mitchell getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Augustin Marino hit a great ball. After 30 minutes, Raul Sheffield made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. 56 minutes into the game, Augustin Marino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lynn Rivas. Augustin Marino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 61 minutes into the match, Mitchell's Augustin Marino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lynn Rivas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mitchell walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
