Pavilion AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FriBeRtz FC the free kick. Stephan Hodges kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Jacques Mosher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pavilion AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Stevie Ouellet hit a great ball. Alberto Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Millard King, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Millard King in the 25th minute of the match. Jacques Mosher charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacques Mosher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacques Mosher hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd match minute, FriBeRtz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korey Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. Millard King received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alberto Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justin Bourgeois's late challenge caught a Pavilion AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pavilion AFC's Jeramy Witt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Pavilion AFC from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Millard King made a kick off. Millard King might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Moreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Millard King ran back to his position shaking his head. After 62 played minutes FriBeRtz FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Corbett. In the 65th minute Angel Collins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeramy Witt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Benjamin Corbett came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FriBeRtz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Corbett couldn't finish the play. Millard King struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Alberto Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pavilion AFC. In the 70th minute, Marcelo Simard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lacy Ashby charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
