Terrell Cope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Minh Bledsoe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glidden AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Blair Goodwin scored to the left of an out of position Virgilio Quintana, making the score, 1-0. The supporters of Glidden AFC booed when Dover was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Booker Fontaine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Papillion Sirois kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Collins got free with Virgilio Quintana in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Givens during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Elias Givens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Dover got a corner. Glidden AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maxwell Hahn ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Maxwell Hahn almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Glidden AFC's Virgilio Quintana did a great save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blair Goodwin to make the kick off. Virgilio Quintana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blair Goodwin's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. If Benjamin Collins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Papillion Sirois kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Blair Goodwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minh Bledsoe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrell Cope in the 75th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Glidden AFC's Terrell Cope slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Minh Bledsoe. That made the score 2-2 after 77 minutes of play. If Benjamin Collins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terrell Cope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Corbeil hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Dover's goal looked a bit too open when Terrell Cope came free, but Minh Bledsoe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
