Spectators: 6746 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 0) Garrett Giguère started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 minutes, Korey Figueroa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FriBeRtz FC and the Smithville players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes, FriBeRtz FC's Alvaro Chambers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lavern Rutherford came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FriBeRtz FC reached it. Alberto Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garrett Giguère, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Smithville's Garrett Giguère nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 16 minutes, Benjamin Corbett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FriBeRtz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Corbett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Francesco Demers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lavern Rutherford was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. FriBeRtz FC's Francesco Demers got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After taking down the ball on FriBeRtz FC's corner Brendan Emerson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lavern Rutherford quite easily take care of the ball. When Lacy Ashby fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FriBeRtz FC's protests and gave Lacy Ashby a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, FriBeRtz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lacy Ashby to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francesco Demers to make the kick off. Benjamin Corbett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FriBeRtz FC's Korey Figueroa got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Garrett Giguère had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Smithville's goalkeeper Lavern Rutherford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francesco Demers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lavern Rutherford came out and tried to block the shot, but Francesco Demers slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Francesco Demers managed to get in a good position for a shot. FriBeRtz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Demers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lavern Rutherford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Lincoln in the 79th minute of play forced FriBeRtz FC's goalkeeper Alberto Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, FriBeRtz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Garrett Giguère came free, but Alberto Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Francesco Demers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lavern Rutherford. The goal made the score 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Francesco Demers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lavern Rutherford. That made the score 1-4 in the 86 minute of play. Korey Figueroa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Francesco Demers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Foucault got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Léandre Beebe. In the 95th match minute, FriBeRtz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clifford Stovall to maneuver through the defense. If Garrett Giguère had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FriBeRtz FC played a much better game than Smithville and deserved their victory. The Smithville players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
