Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claude Larsen got the match started through his kick off. Dover's Minh Bledsoe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guadalupe Childress in the 11th minute of play. Guadalupe Childress fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minh Bledsoe having to interfere. Claude Larsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dover's zone, Claude Larsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Minh Bledsoe came out of the goal and Claude Larsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Ignace Dube hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes Barrhead FC got a freekick which was hit by Winfred Estes. The supporters of Dover booed when Barrhead FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donny Cain didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Maxwell Hahn in the 27th minute really tested Fernand Pinette's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Benjamin Collins's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fernand Pinette firmly grabbed it by the left post. Claude Larsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minh Bledsoe having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Guadalupe Childress shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minh Bledsoe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Danilo Corbeil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dover and the Barrhead FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Dover got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Corbeil.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blair Goodwin was the one to do the kick off. Minh Bledsoe made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Guadalupe Childress sent off a good shot on target. Benjamin Collins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dover's Danilo Corbeil got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Danilo Corbeil off the ground. Danilo Corbeil kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Claude Larsen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Minh Bledsoe. That made the score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. In the 67th minute, Guadalupe Childress fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Claude Larsen struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Minh Bledsoe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrhead FC. In the 74th minute of the match, Claude Larsen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Minh Bledsoe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Blair Goodwin kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes, Barrhead FC's Cornelius Sheehan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Minh Bledsoe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrhead FC reached it. Blair Goodwin hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Claude Larsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Collins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Minh Bledsoe made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Guadalupe Childress sent off a good shot on target. If Guadalupe Childress had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrhead FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
