When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dale Esparza made a kick off. In the 55th minute, one of Lavaltrie AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lavaltrie AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Elliot in the 62nd minute of play forced Lavaltrie AFC's goalkeeper Boniface Fleming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wade Holcomb hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Boyd Coffman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boniface Fleming skillfully saved the ball. Terence Gibson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Marc Gervais made a huge save. Marc Gervais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Esparza, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
