Boniface Fleming came out of the goal and Rocky Denton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector Brock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Esparza in the 15th minute of the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Dale Esparza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halvorgate's Hector Brock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Halvorgate's Hector Brock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Halvorgate from getting a goal against them. Terence Gibson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hector Brock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Rocky Denton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurice Barrière sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rocky Denton made a kick off. In the 54th minute Dale Esparza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Brock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Halvorgate got a freekick which was hit by Columbus Chaloux. After a rather tough play, Halvorgate's Efrain Duval got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of Lavaltrie AFC booed when Halvorgate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonse Dunham didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Alphonse Dunham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the match Henri Hardy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Brock showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lavaltrie AFC's zone, Gaspard Cortes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boniface Fleming came out of the goal and Gaspard Cortes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rocky Denton in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boniface Fleming prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dale Esparza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Maurice Barrière made a precise shot to the right of Boniface Fleming. Lavaltrie AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 81 minutes of play, Halvorgate's Maurice Barrière made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boniface Fleming was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dale Esparza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rocky Denton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boniface Fleming having to interfere. Maurice Barrière's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Boniface Fleming skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 93rd minute, Raphaël Horn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rocky Denton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Boniface Fleming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lavaltrie AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Raphaël Horn hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Halvorgate eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
