Chadwick Craig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Virgilio Quintana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Travis Prather's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Chadwick Craig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Virgil Eastman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Missanabie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glidden AFC the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Missanabie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Eastman to maneuver through the defense. Leonard Bonds made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Donat Moser sent off a good shot on target. Glidden AFC's Terrell Cope got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donat Moser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Leonard Bonds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donat Moser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Bonds having to interfere. If Donat Moser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Terrell Cope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Missanabie booed when Glidden AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vern Jenkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Brandon, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Glidden AFC defense, Travis Prather kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Quintana. The Glidden AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Quintana should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Travis Prather made a kick off. Virgilio Quintana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Travis Prather, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With his leg Virgilio Quintana managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Missanabie's Chadwick Craig fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Terrell Cope struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Leonard Bonds didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glidden AFC. Leonard Bonds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrell Cope in the 70th minute of the match. Chadwick Craig took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Quintana. Virgilio Quintana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Missanabie's zone, Terrell Cope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Bonds came out of the goal and Terrell Cope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgil Eastman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Quintana having to interfere. Brooks Langston charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brooks Langston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Chadwick Craig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Chadwick Craig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Brooks Langston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Missanabie's Leonard Bonds played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terrell Cope in the 92nd minute of play. Chadwick Craig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle sounded Missanabie left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Glidden AFC.
