Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) Francesco Demers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Boniface Fleming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Demers in the 5th minute of play. Lavaltrie AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henri Hardy in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Henri Hardy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alberto Moreira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 12 minutes into the game, Korey Figueroa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FriBeRtz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lavaltrie AFC the free kick. With a little luck, FriBeRtz FC's Alberto Moreira got control of the ball when Terence Gibson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute Francesco Demers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boniface Fleming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes Lavaltrie AFC got a freekick which was hit by Henri Hardy. Francesco Demers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boniface Fleming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Corbett in the 36th minute of play. If Francesco Demers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dale Esparza kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Benjamin Corbett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Lavaltrie AFC booed when FriBeRtz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lacy Ashby didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Terence Gibson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes in the game, Benjamin Corbett fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Boniface Fleming having to interfere. Francesco Demers struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Boniface Fleming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FriBeRtz FC. In the 71st minute, Korey Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FriBeRtz FC's Justin Bourgeois quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Henri Hardy, made in the 78th minute of the game. Terence Gibson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Alberto Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lavaltrie AFC's zone, Benjamin Corbett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boniface Fleming came out of the goal and Benjamin Corbett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FriBeRtz FC's Lacy Ashby quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dick Lajoie, made in the 88th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Jody Leduc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute Terence Gibson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FriBeRtz FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
