In the 56th minute, Donat Moser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lavaltrie AFC's zone, Terrell Cope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boniface Fleming came out of the goal and Terrell Cope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donat Moser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes, Jimmy Goulet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavaltrie AFC and the Glidden AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lavaltrie AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jimmy Goulet hit a great ball. After 79 minutes, Elias Givens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glidden AFC and the Lavaltrie AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lavaltrie AFC booed when Glidden AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Givens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgilio Quintana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wade Holcomb in the 89th minute of the match. Terrell Cope blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boniface Fleming having to make a save. Boniface Fleming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terrell Cope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Glidden AFC's Virgilio Quintana got control of the ball when Terence Gibson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Lavaltrie AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lavaltrie AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
