Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Donat Moser got free with Minh Bledsoe in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Donat Moser came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Glidden AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donat Moser couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dover's goalkeeper Minh Bledsoe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Terrell Cope's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Minh Bledsoe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Benjamin Collins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Benjamin Collins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Quintana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Dover's goal looked a bit too open when Terrell Cope came free, but Minh Bledsoe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Terrell Cope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Glidden AFC booed when Dover was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Corbeil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Blair Goodwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dover's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blair Goodwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donat Moser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Minh Bledsoe made a huge save. Terrell Cope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minh Bledsoe having to interfere.

The wind increased when Terrell Cope made the kick off in the second half. Minh Bledsoe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donat Moser's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Terrell Cope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minh Bledsoe having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignace Dube during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Minh Bledsoe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donat Moser in the 60th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Dover got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Corbeil. Virgilio Quintana was a little too slow when Blair Goodwin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-2. After a rather tough play, Dover's Ignace Dube got a free kick in the 73rd minute.
