Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claude Larsen took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Guadalupe Childress had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Lavaltrie AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henri Hardy to maneuver through the defense. Claude Larsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boniface Fleming came out and tried to block the shot, but Claude Larsen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lavaltrie AFC's zone, Guadalupe Childress stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boniface Fleming came out of the goal and Guadalupe Childress tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernand Pinette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terence Gibson in the 29th minute of play. Guadalupe Childress blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boniface Fleming having to make a save. In the 35th minute Claude Larsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boniface Fleming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernand Pinette came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Lavaltrie AFC's Dale Esparza. But to his dismay, Dale Esparza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dale Esparza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dale Esparza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Fernand Pinette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernand Pinette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Terence Gibson in the 54th minute. Winfred Estes hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Lavaltrie AFC's Terence Gibson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernand Pinette made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Dale Esparza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terence Gibson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claude Larsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boniface Fleming having to interfere. Terence Gibson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fernand Pinette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Barrhead FC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Bonsaint. Hyman Hagen charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hyman Hagen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Hyman Hagen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Esparza in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernand Pinette prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raphaël Horn hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Fernand Pinette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Terence Gibson in the 92nd minute. Mathis Stiles hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Claude Larsen came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Barrhead FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claude Larsen couldn't finish the play.
