Naujat's Enrique Chesnay got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrique Chesnay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gayle Olson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Naujat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roderick Herrington to maneuver through the defense. Lenard Compton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jérôme Shepard. Naujat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Naujat getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Irwin Joyce hit a great ball. Newton Shearer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Newton Shearer came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Naujat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Newton Shearer couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Bruno's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Chesnay came free, but Gayle Olson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gayle Olson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Newton Shearer in the 34th minute of the match. Garth Rainey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Newton Shearer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Eloy Simpson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jérôme Shepard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eloy Simpson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jérôme Shepard having to interfere. Jérôme Shepard came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bruno's Garth Rainey. But to his dismay, Garth Rainey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Naujat's Enrique Chesnay got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Enrique Chesnay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naujat's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Chesnay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gayle Olson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Newton Shearer came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Naujat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Newton Shearer couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Bruno's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Chesnay came free, but Gayle Olson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
