Santos Blum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trenton Tremblay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnie Cardona having to make a save. If Taylor Head had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trenton Tremblay in the 10th minute of play forced Minitonas FC's goalkeeper Johnie Cardona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Minitonas FC's Erasmo Shah in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FlashBobcat's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Minitonas FC's Johnie Cardona got control of the ball when Trenton Tremblay tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, John Jobin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minitonas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FlashBobcat the free kick. Jackie Lambert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Shah in the 21st minute of play. Taylor Head fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnie Cardona having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Erasmo Shah notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FlashBobcat's Jackie Lambert. Jackie Lambert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Taylor Head received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Johnie Cardona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Santos Blum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricky Kiser hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Jackie Lambert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Shah in the 43rd minute of the match. Terrell Burnett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Minitonas FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taylor Head in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnie Cardona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taylor Head in the 53rd minute of play forced Minitonas FC's goalkeeper Johnie Cardona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Blum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Shah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jackie Lambert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FlashBobcat's Santos Blum got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Ricky Kiser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FlashBobcat and the Minitonas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FlashBobcat getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ricky Kiser hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Vince Stanford sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jackie Lambert skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felicien Castaneda in the 67th minute of play forced FlashBobcat's goalkeeper Jackie Lambert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Taylor Head shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnie Cardona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Blum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnie Cardona having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Taylor Head managed to get in a good position for a shot. FlashBobcat's supporters rose to their feet, but Taylor Head was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnie Cardona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, Minitonas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Trenton Tremblay came free, but Johnie Cardona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Terrell Burnett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnie Cardona having to interfere. Johnie Cardona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taylor Head in the 89th minute of the match. Santos Blum scored 1-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnie Cardona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Minitonas FC's Johnie Cardona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taylor Head in the 95th minute of play. FlashBobcat were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
