Jérôme Shepard acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 6th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vince Stanford. Newton Shearer took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnie Cardona. Johnie Cardona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Newton Shearer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnie Cardona having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Felicien Castaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minitonas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felicien Castaneda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Enrique Chesnay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Johnie Cardona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Chesnay in the 31st minute of play forced Minitonas FC's goalkeeper Johnie Cardona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Enrique Chesnay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnie Cardona. Minitonas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Chesnay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 40th minute Rolf Ladner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jérôme Shepard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Newton Shearer in the 43rd minute of play forced Minitonas FC's goalkeeper Johnie Cardona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jérôme Shepard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felicien Castaneda in the 44th minute. If Erasmo Shah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Shah was the one to do the kick off. Jérôme Shepard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felicien Castaneda in the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Erasmo Shah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minitonas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Shah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jérôme Shepard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnie Cardona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Chesnay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naujat's Jérôme Shepard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felicien Castaneda in the 79th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Enrique Chesnay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Shah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jérôme Shepard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Felicien Castaneda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jérôme Shepard. Naujat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felicien Castaneda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Naujat eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
