Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ignacio Escobedo kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Elora AFC's zone, Baptiste Poirier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noah Rosa came out of the goal and Baptiste Poirier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Edmonton's goalkeeper Zack Chatman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederick Whitley. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Lane Echeverri put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Noah Rosa. After a rather tough play, Edmonton's Sean Eubanks got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Edmonton's Zack Chatman got control of the ball when Frederick Whitley tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute Lane Echeverri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noah Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zack Chatman made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Frederick Whitley sent off a good shot on target. Edmonton's Zack Chatman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Escobedo in the 38th minute of play. When Mervin Swenson fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elora AFC's protests and gave Mervin Swenson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Edmonton booed when Elora AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mervin Swenson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Terrence Osborne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mervin Swenson got free with Zack Chatman in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Escobedo in the 44th minute of play forced Edmonton's goalkeeper Zack Chatman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elora AFC's Noah Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lane Echeverri in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lane Echeverri made a kick off. Baptiste Poirier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Noah Rosa made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Emanuel Ljungberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edmonton's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Ljungberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noah Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Elora AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Baptiste Poirier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lane Echeverri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Ljungberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noah Rosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, Edmonton's Baptiste Poirier made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noah Rosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute, Lane Echeverri fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Noah Rosa, passed just outside the right post. Baptiste Poirier struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Noah Rosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edmonton. 68 minutes into the game, Lane Echeverri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Noah Rosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmonton's Baptiste Poirier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Noah Rosa. That made the score 0-4 after 71 minutes of play. If Emanuel Ljungberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baptiste Poirier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Sandy Migneault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zack Chatman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute Ignacio Escobedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zack Chatman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baptiste Poirier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Noah Rosa made a huge save.
