The wind increased when Ignacio Escobedo made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Mervin Swenson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elora AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Revelstoke AFC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Elora AFC's zone, Michael Barnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noah Rosa came out of the goal and Michael Barnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kerry Wilkes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Barnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noah Rosa having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Ignacio Escobedo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Revelstoke AFC's Jimmy Chicoine. Jimmy Chicoine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Frederick Whitley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
