In the 5th minute Garth Rainey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyrille Simmons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Humbert Starr made a precise shot to the right of Gayle Olson. Bruno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 24th minute Garth Rainey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyrille Simmons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bruno's zone, Bart Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gayle Olson came out of the goal and Bart Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the game, Zachary Valentin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fingal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bruno the free kick. Zachary Valentin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes, Garth Rainey made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fingal's Cyrille Simmons tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cyrille Simmons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Simpson in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Ramos in the 55th minute of play forced Bruno's goalkeeper Gayle Olson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garth Rainey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cyrille Simmons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garth Rainey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyrille Simmons having to interfere. Humbert Starr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Simpson's late challenge caught a Fingal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eloy Simpson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Zachary Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloy Simpson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyrille Simmons having to interfere. Garth Rainey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cyrille Simmons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Bruno fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Bruno's Eloy Simpson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eloy Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cyrille Simmons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bruno booed when Fingal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachary Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Fingal's Clair Melendez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Clair Melendez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fingal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Clair Melendez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fingal! 97 minutes into the match, Bruno's goal looked a bit too open when Humbert Starr came free, but Gayle Olson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eloy Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Fingal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bruno were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
