Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Chang Crowder started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Emanuel Naylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Parker Patel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arden Huot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Darron Dupéré tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The tension between the Sayward FC and the Lessard FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 21 minutes into the match, Sayward FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Naylor came free, but Parker Patel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sayward FC's Parker Patel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chang Crowder in the 22nd minute of play. Chang Crowder scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Parker Patel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Darron Dupéré showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Issac Dupuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Arden Huot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Darron Dupéré tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Sayward FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lessard FC were winning 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Harley Day managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sayward FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Harley Day was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darron Dupéré breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Emanuel Naylor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Russell Marshall was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Emanuel Naylor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sayward FC's goalkeeper Parker Patel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sayward FC's zone, Emanuel Naylor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Parker Patel came out of the goal and Emanuel Naylor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the game, Issac Dupuis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sayward FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lessard FC the free kick. A collision led to Sayward FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Issac Dupuis hit a great ball. When Harley Day came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Sayward FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harley Day couldn't finish the play. Winfred Hinton kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 87 played minutes Sayward FC got a freekick which was hit by Issac Dupuis. After having played for 89 minutes, Chang Crowder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lessard FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chang Crowder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Owen Grandpré charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Owen Grandpré the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Owen Grandpré hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harley Day sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
