In the 45thth minute of the game Moshe Sweet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Demers Beaulne's Iréné Dawkins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmen Dudley was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Reliance FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmen Dudley came free, but Salvatore Stinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iréné Dawkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donovan Baron in the 56th minute of the match. If Onesime Haley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lynwood Merchant's late challenge caught a Reliance FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lynwood Merchant helped the player get up and apologised. 66 minutes into the match, Demers Beaulne's goal looked a bit too open when Moshe Sweet came free, but Iréné Dawkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lynwood Merchant kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Mauro Peoples was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Baron in the 82nd minute of play forced Demers Beaulne's goalkeeper Iréné Dawkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iréné Dawkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moshe Sweet, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Donovan Baron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iréné Dawkins having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Reliance FC's zone, Onesime Haley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvatore Stinson came out of the goal and Onesime Haley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Carmen Dudley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Demers Beaulne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmen Dudley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Walker Cantrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reliance FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Demers Beaulne the free kick. Walker Cantrell kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reliance FC's goalkeeper Salvatore Stinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
