In the 6th minute, Melvin Chartier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norbert Louis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Parrsborough FC's zone, Elvin Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Louis came out of the goal and Elvin Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Naylor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norbert Louis was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Étienne Nolan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Chang Crowder came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lessard FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chang Crowder couldn't finish the play. If Marcel Desnoyers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph McQueen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Darron Dupéré tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scottie Burns charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Scottie Burns the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lessard FC! When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Parrsborough FC's Refugio Bourgeois got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Darron Dupéré. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Desnoyers got free with Darron Dupéré in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melvin Chartier during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Melvin Chartier hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Marcel Desnoyers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darron Dupéré having to interfere. Norbert Louis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chang Crowder, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Emanuel Naylor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chang Crowder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Louis having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chang Crowder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Lessard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph McQueen came free, but Darron Dupéré reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Marcel Desnoyers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parrsborough FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Desnoyers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Winfred Hinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes Lessard FC got a freekick which was hit by Melvin Chartier. Darron Dupéré stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joseph McQueen's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Marcel Desnoyers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lessard FC's Darron Dupéré was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joseph McQueen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darron Dupéré having to make a save. A collision led to Lessard FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Winfred Hinton hit a great ball. Chang Crowder ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Lessard FC booed when Parrsborough FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darwin Darnell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
