Maximilien Pelchat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Elliott in the 11th minute of the match. Salvador Elliott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Maximilien Pelchat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute Keith Hoffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mose Andersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerald Panetier kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Georges Waters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Vicente Pouchard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helston AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Pouchard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximilien Pelchat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximilien Pelchat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Pouchard's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Helston AFC's Salvador Elliott got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Pouchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Maximilien Pelchat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Elliott to strike the kick off in the second half. Walter Keyes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Maximilien Pelchat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Pouchard went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Salvador Elliott struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Maximilien Pelchat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helston AFC. Keith Hoffman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Georges Waters came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Goshen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georges Waters couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Helston AFC's Ned Geiger got a free kick in the 66th minute. Harvey Kim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Maximilien Pelchat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Elliott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilien Pelchat having to interfere. If Salvador Elliott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goshen's Maximilien Pelchat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Elliott in the 82nd minute of play. When Jerald Panetier came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Goshen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerald Panetier couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Goshen's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Pouchard came free, but Maximilien Pelchat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
