Clayton Boudreaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Purvis having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Drew Salinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chi McMahon hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Gravenhurst got a freekick which was hit by Keenan Rangel. Grégoire Rosas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmen Fagan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grégoire Rosas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alphonso Dove, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Salvador Beausoleil struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Fritz Purvis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandspit FC. Fritz Purvis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Boudreaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.
