Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wilbert Bernstein got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bradford AFC's zone, Weston Ervin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camille Darling came out of the goal and Weston Ervin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnny Epperson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilbert Bernstein in the 8th minute of play. Jarrett Stoner hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Bradford AFC's Johnny Epperson threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wilbert Bernstein, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Camille Darling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Truman Lawson in the 20th minute of the match. Wilbert Bernstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Johnny Epperson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristobal Hurst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tristan Gallegos's late challenge caught a Hondo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tristan Gallegos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bradford AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tristan Gallegos hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Bradford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Truman Lawson came free, but Camille Darling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Bradford AFC's Wilbert Bernstein ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Johnny Epperson. Johnny Epperson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Cristobal Hurst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Cristobal Hurst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bradford AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Hurst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Epperson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Cristobal Hurst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Alonso Rios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Truman Lawson came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Hondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Truman Lawson couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Truman Lawson to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Cristobal Hurst ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johnny Epperson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Cristobal Hurst came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Bradford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Hurst couldn't finish the play. Cristobal Hurst struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Johnny Epperson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bradford AFC. If Truman Lawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bradford AFC's Noel McNally in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hondo's goalie prevented a goal. Bradford AFC's Camille Darling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Bradford AFC from getting a goal against them. Wilbert Bernstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Weston Ervin took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camille Darling. Camille Darling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.
