In the 15th match minute, Miniota was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maria Veilleux to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Deschamps came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Dogpound's Olivier Brower. But to his dismay, Olivier Brower quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arnoldo Frappier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorsey Hearn in the 26th minute of the match. Dogpound's Arnoldo Frappier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorsey Hearn in the 28th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Dogpound's Martin Mazuret nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Deschamps made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olivier Brower to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Martin Mazuret managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dogpound's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Mazuret was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dorsey Hearn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorsey Hearn took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Frappier. Arnoldo Frappier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 62nd minute, Dorsey Hearn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miniota fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Lyle Boyce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Arnoldo Frappier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willie Darnell charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
