Rodrick Guidry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Will Kearney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Revelstoke AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Grant Leonard fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Rothesay FC defense, Juste Elliott kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Will Kearney. The Rothesay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Will Kearney should have stopped the shot. Jackie Roche charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jackie Roche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Revelstoke AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jackie Roche to maneuver through the defense. If Thaddeus Dick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Onesime Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thaddeus Dick in the 26th minute of play. Revelstoke AFC's Mauricio Tackett suffered a concussion in the 27th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Thaddeus Dick's late challenge caught a Revelstoke AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thaddeus Dick helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Rothesay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thaddeus Dick to maneuver through the defense. Eldon Boyles's late challenge caught a Rothesay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eldon Boyles helped the player get up and apologised. Eldon Boyles kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Thaddeus Dick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Revelstoke AFC's Onesime Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thaddeus Dick in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Rothesay FC's Grant Leonard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Onesime Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 44th minute, Rodrick Guidry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Rothesay FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Sammy Allred hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrick Guidry was the one to do the kick off. Jackie Roche got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 52nd minute, Jackie Roche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Revelstoke AFC booed when Rothesay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvester Shoemaker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Onesime Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Leonard in the 76th minute of play. But to his dismay, Thaddeus Dick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thaddeus Dick in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Onesime Dias saved Revelstoke AFC from getting behind. Revelstoke AFC's Onesime Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thaddeus Dick in the 91st minute of play. Revelstoke AFC's Rodrick Guidry has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rothesay FC had won after a very even match.
