After 72 minutes of play, Hussar's Gil Diaz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Randall Goodwin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, Hussar's goal looked a bit too open when Chet Sterling came free, but Warner Brady reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Diaz in the 81st minute of play forced Gorlitz AFC's goalkeeper Randall Goodwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil Diaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Randall Goodwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gil Diaz ran back to his position shaking his head. After 89 played minutes Gorlitz AFC got a freekick which was hit by Frederic Beal. Frederic Beal hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Gil Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Hussar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Diaz couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Hussar were the better team. Hussar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
