An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto LaCaille in the 5th minute of play forced Alpha Pegasus's goalkeeper Fernando Bass to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Bass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorsey Hearn in the 7th minute of the match. Alpha Pegasus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Dorsey Hearn scored to the left of an out of position Fernando Bass, making the score, 1-0. Millard Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Moises Patenaude had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Deschamps. Miniota's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Patenaude was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ernesto Deschamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Patenaude in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Miniota:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alpha Pegasus:s goal. The referee gave Alpha Pegasus a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Millard Campos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Miniota's Ernesto Deschamps. 1-2. After 30 minutes of play, Alpha Pegasus's Millard Campos made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Deschamps was left in no man's land by his defense there! Millard Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Deschamps having to interfere. Ernesto Deschamps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Millard Campos in the 42nd minute of play. Alpha Pegasus's Trenton Mailloux got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Deschamps stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moises Patenaude's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorsey Hearn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Millard Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Deschamps having to interfere. Miniota's Ernesto Deschamps proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Miniota from getting a goal against them. After 56 played minutes Miniota got a freekick which was hit by Gino Rader. In the 58th minute of the match Millard Campos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Deschamps showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Moises Patenaude put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ernesto Deschamps. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miniota's goalkeeper Ernesto Deschamps, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Moises Patenaude got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Alpha Pegasus defense, Dorsey Hearn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Bass. The Alpha Pegasus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Bass should have stopped the shot. When Millard Campos came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Alpha Pegasus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Millard Campos couldn't finish the play. After 80 minutes, Moises Patenaude made it 2-6 with a short kick to the right side. Miniota's Ernesto Deschamps tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Patenaude could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ernesto Deschamps made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Millard Campos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Millard Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 92 minutes, Christian Jorrin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpha Pegasus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Jorrin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Alpha Pegasus could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Miniota throughout the match.
