Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Duncan Malone got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Yarmouth AFC's goalkeeper Wally Todd, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 5 minutes, Duncan Malone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walcott and the Yarmouth AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Walcott getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Duncan Malone hit a great ball. After 11 minutes of play Walcott's Duncan Malone was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 15 minutes into the game, Drew Cordero threw the ball into play from the sideline. Walcott's Neil Norman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Demetrius Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wally Todd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Walcott's Demetrius Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wally Todd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Demetrius Marquez sped through Yarmouth AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wally Todd. Chang Leon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Marcus Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrius Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benoit Laliberté took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taylor Chrétien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Demetrius Marquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wally Todd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demetrius Marquez struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Wally Todd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walcott. If Marcus Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Demetrius Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Marcus Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. Leroy Gauthier was slow to take the kick. During this time Walcott's players had a chance to rest. The wind increased when Chang Leon made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Rubio in the 53rd minute of play forced Yarmouth AFC's goalkeeper Wally Todd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walcott's Benoit Laliberté proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Walcott from getting a goal against them. If Demetrius Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wally Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Rubio in the 87th minute of play. Neil Norman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Wally Todd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wally Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrius Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Wally Todd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Yarmouth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrius Marquez came free, but Wally Todd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Rubio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wally Todd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Walcott fully deserved thier win.
