Arnaud Boulanger hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Tilting AFC's Javier Pringle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sébastien Gordon in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Goodridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burl Pearce to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Clifton Veilleux sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Clint Rhodes threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Clifton Veilleux this time. After having played for 20 minutes, Porfirio Huot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goodridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Porfirio Huot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Tilting AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Arnaud Boulanger hit a great ball. Jacques Holloway, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Sébastien Gordon came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Goodridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sébastien Gordon couldn't finish the play. Sébastien Gordon might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Pringle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sébastien Gordon ran back to his position shaking his head. Javier Pringle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porfirio Huot, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Fernand Delaney's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clint Rhodes was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Clint Rhodes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fernand Delaney showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. Sébastien Gordon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Tilting AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Goodridge:s goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Goodridge's Sébastien Gordon got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marion Metzger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Arnaud Boulanger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sébastien Gordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Goodridge's zone, Fernand Delaney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clint Rhodes came out of the goal and Fernand Delaney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clint Rhodes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marion Metzger in the 79th minute of the match. Goodridge's Clint Rhodes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marion Metzger in the 84th minute of play. Sébastien Gordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Graig Montano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goodridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tilting AFC the free kick. Clint Rhodes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marion Metzger's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The Tilting AFC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Tilting AFC's Marion Metzger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tilting AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
