When Ricardo Choi came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Cannington AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Choi couldn't finish the play. If Ricardo Choi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dong Maloney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Nigel James made a huge save. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cannington AFC's goalkeeper Nigel James, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nigel James took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chang Leon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dong Maloney in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nigel James, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 23rd minute, Cannington AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dong Maloney fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Dong Maloney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ricardo Choi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cannington AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Choi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wally Todd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dong Maloney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cannington AFC's zone, Chang Leon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nigel James came out of the goal and Chang Leon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cannington AFC's Nigel James played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chang Leon in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ricardo Choi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cannington AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Choi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wally Todd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Choi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wally Todd was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Wally Todd made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ricardo Choi sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Yarmouth AFC's goalkeeper Wally Todd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Choi. Ricardo Choi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Chang Leon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nigel James saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nigel James showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dong Maloney in the 84th minute of the match. Nigel James showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dong Maloney, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Chang Leon notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cannington AFC's Nigel James. Nigel James was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reinaldo Floyd kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
