After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Merle Blankenship managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocologan AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Merle Blankenship was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clint Rhodes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Porfirio Huot might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ambroise Dean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Porfirio Huot ran back to his position shaking his head. Seymour Horton hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes Pocologan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edmond Prince. 19 minutes into the match, Pocologan AFC's goalkeeper Ambroise Dean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sébastien Gordon. In the 22nd match minute, Pocologan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seymour Horton to maneuver through the defense. Ambroise Dean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porfirio Huot in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Goodridge's goal looked a bit too open when Dillon Parenteau came free, but Clint Rhodes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Porfirio Huot scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambroise Dean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Dillon Parenteau managed to get in a good position for a shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Dillon Parenteau made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dillon Parenteau in the 53rd minute of play forced Goodridge's goalkeeper Clint Rhodes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clint Rhodes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 61st match minute, Pocologan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Witherspoon to maneuver through the defense. One of Pocologan AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Goodridge:s goal. 90 minutes into the game, Arnold Walton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goodridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocologan AFC the free kick. Arnold Walton kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Merle Blankenship had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Goodridge's zone, Jose Lake stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clint Rhodes came out of the goal and Jose Lake tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seymour Horton's late challenge caught a Goodridge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seymour Horton helped the player get up and apologised. Porfirio Huot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambroise Dean having to interfere. 99 minutes into the game, Porfirio Huot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ambroise Dean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
